Veraison is the period when the grains are starting to take the color of their maturity. It is also the name chosen for the celebration held in Chateauneuf du Pape the first weekend of August. It will thus take place this year from Friday 05 to Sunday, August 7.

During these three days, thousands of visitors will discover many craft booths, attend various events and especially enjoy the best local wines in the many booths and wine cellars located in the village streets. The festival combines wine and Middle Ages. The village streets are crisscrossed with processions and parades of medieval soldiers. a craft market moves and even a medieval ball is given in place de la Renaissance.

The wine flows freely, tasting the cart and into the vaults including Domaine de la Ronciere on the village square.
